With a song in her heart and determination in her soul, vibrant single mother of two, Eulanda Wagner (40), celebrates the release of her single Nou of Nooit – an inspiring pop track infused with jazz, funk, and R&B elements. Written during the 2025 ATKV-Crescendo Mentorship Programme, the song was recorded in March this year and is now available for radio release.

Nou of Nooit is more than just a song. For Eulanda, it is a life philosophy. As the mother of an autistic 8-year-old son, Brandon, she has had to learn to keep hopeful each day, even when life feels overwhelming. This song is a beacon of hope – for her, for other single parents, and for anyone who has ever doubted their path.

“This song carried me through difficult times. I had to learn to trust my intuition, to love myself again and to quiet the noise of the world,” she says.

“Do you still want to be that person who fails at everything? Or do you want to be the one who takes control of your own destiny?”

These lyrics capture the heart of Eulanda’s journey: self-acceptance, courage, and the realisation that the time to live your dreams is now.

“I had to learn not to let others' judgments define me – not about my child, my body or my dreams. This song is my way of silencing those voices and singing my own truth,” says the Worcester-based singer-songwriter.

With the support of ATKV-Crescendo, Eulanda not only found her voice, but began to see herself in a new light.

“The programme shaped me as both an artist and a person. I have learnt that your humanity is more important than any fame. I carry that lesson with me every day.”

On 16 May, Eulanda will release Now or Never live at the Daisy Jones Theatre just outside Stellenbosch, performing alongside fellow Crescendo mentorship finalist Victor Fredericks and special guest artists such as Riku Lätti.
