William Jacobs is a South African-born pianist, jazz musician, composer and producer who is firmly anchored in both the Afrikaans and English music industry. This native of Mitchells Plain is known in musical circles for his outstanding productions and performances. As one of the most respected pianists in the country, it's no wonder he amazes audiences with his brilliant instrumental abilities. Personally, he is a big fan of jazz and Afro music, finding inspiration from the likes of Richard Bona and Herbie Hancock.
Over the years, William has worked with several artists such as Melissa van der Spuy, Anna Davel and Herbie Tsoaeli. For him, it is a life's work to raise the quality of music and artists in his community and Cape Town by using his unique style, music and compositions.
