Mark Pekeur, 21 years old and hailing from Paarl, was announced in June 2025 as one of four artists to be presented to the audience on October 4 during the Crescendo GOUD event. This multi-talented songwriter, singer, and musician began his vocal journey in church at the age of seven. “I picked up the guitar when I turned ten. Currently, I am part of the South African Youth Choir based in Cape Town.”

Alongside attending the Musical Theatre Masterclass in Franschhoek, he finds time for cricket, table tennis, and golf. He is particularly thrilled about his musical path with ATKV-Crescendo, looking forward to composing new songs and sharing his story through music.
